We deliver this must-have insight to the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, intellectual property and science and media markets, powered by the world’s most trusted news organization.Role PurposeResponsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost accounting functions.ResponsibilitiesReconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.Prepare financial management reports.Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.Develop and maintain financial data bases.Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.Implement and maintain internal control procedures.Prepare operational budgets.Scope & ImpactResponsibility for the provision of all Record to Report Processing for a region.Producing transactional accounts for all cost centres (accruals, prepayments, journals etc.).Performing accounting and transactional services with basic relevant post qualified experience.Manage time, materials, and/or equipment to achieve weekly or monthly goals.Most work goals will affect near time frame, typically up to 6 months to 1 year.Will typically plan work on a monthly/quarterly basis.
