Director or Product Management

As Director of Product Management you will own the strategy and roadmap for all of Companies products while balancing corporate goals with long-term trends and opportunities. You will be accountable for the delivery of enhancements, features, and service requests against the product roadmap. You will own, document, and articulate product vision while working with the development team on delivering the most value for Companies internal and external customers. You will act as a liaison with other parts of the organization to take input for the product roadmap, and to organize delivery against that roadmap. Additionally, you will lead the evaluation and monitoring of all of Companies products throughout all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (proposal, definition, build, validation, production, end of enhancements, end of availability, end of support). You will be responsible for directing, establishing, maintaining and planning the overall policies, processes and procedures for product management.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide strategic, tactical and technical direction to the team with regards to production, processes, testing, product development and problem-solving Define and communicate the product roadmap, inclusive of all of Companies products. Work with the Product, Project, and Technology team to manage a release plan for delivery of items on the product roadmap. Collaborate with the business stakeholder’s to confirm project plan, scope definition, and project handoffs to Product Owners and Managers. Ensure the development of the overall product management process and oversee its execution Serve as a tactical support to ensure projects are completed on time and of quality standards. Serve as the Agile Product Owner within Company organization utilizing Scrum Methodologies. Author market requirements documents and product requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification in the proposal and definition portions of the SDLC Develop and maintain transparent communication between project managers, product owners, stakeholders, and sponsors. Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product as well as vendors or third party development consultants. Ensure feature parity and application of branding and stylistic standards across the platform Acts as a leader within the company, and an advisor to company leadership on product matters Author and present product initiatives and product feature roadmaps to C Level Executives Track and build reports on all products and projects in the backlog and in progress. Perform individual assessments and conduct periodic formal and informal performance reviews of your direct team. Work collaboratively with all departments to support business goals Coordinate Product and Project work with remote development teams (US, Argentina, Columbia) Directly manage project managers associated with the Learning Platform, the Website, Salesforce CRM, the Email Platform, Payment / Subscription Billing Platform.


Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Bachelors’ Degree required in business or a technical field, Master’s Degree Preferred Certified as a CSM and / or CSPO preferred 10+ years of related work experience as a Project / Product Manager (4 yrs. as a Senior Level PO /PM) Must have a proven track record of Product Releases Experience managing multiple technology product lines at once Excellent communication skills Must demonstrate decision making skills and the ability to self-manage. Experience managing product cycle from creation to release. Comfortable in a dynamic work environment. Ability to manage team resources locally and remotely. Ability to coordinate large amounts of unorganized data into a useful format for decision making. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Experience managing projects with a Project Management Software, experience with Jira / Aha preferred. Very empowered individual with ability to make important decisions. Advanced Microsoft Office skills – MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Ability to meet travel requirements of the position. Valid Passport to travel globally. Must speak English, but a plus to speak Spanish. Must work in Miami, FL office.
