What You’ll Do…
Turnitin is looking for an international marketing manager to work closely with our Latin American sales team to build and deliver marketing content and campaigns in this market, particularly Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, and El Salvador. This person will help create awareness and preference for Turnitin’s solutions by managing marketing in five key areas: Market Research, Content Marketing, Social Marketing, Customer Success and Virtual and Live Events.
In Detail…
Reporting to Manager of International Marketing, work closely with wider international marketing team, territory sales managers, customers and prospects to understand local markets and translate Turnitin’s value proposition into effective content and campaigns.
Regionalise, implement and manage Latin American marketing campaigns, including campaign development, content repurposing, communications and delivery/execution within the region.
Build a Turnitin presence on relevant social networks to strengthen awareness and brand appeal of Turnitin in your regions.
Document customer success via written and video testimonials in your region.
Help to build and leverage a network of academics in your region to deliver virtual seminars that educate academics on how Turnitin can help institutions improve outcomes.
Measure and evaluate key success metrics.
Where You’ll Be…
Full-time based at Turnitin HQ office in Oakland, California.
To accommodate meetings with global team members, at least two conference calls per week may need to be taken on a morning between 8am and 10am.
May be required to travel to Latin America and UK for strategy meetings.

Requirements and Skills
Bachelor degree or equivalent in business, communications, or marketing
Proven track record of 4+ years in managing marketing campaigns for a technology company (preferably SaaS) in Latin America.
Fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory) and Portuguese (nice to have), with knowledge of educational culture and practices of target countries.
Secondary and/or Higher Education market experience is highly desirable.
Experience working with both direct sales and global resellers.
Understanding of how marketing activity translates into recurring revenue.
Deeply analytical and metrics-driven skill-set.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across languages.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Strong project management skills to develop, deliver and implement multi-faceted programs across multiple territories and, possibly, languages. Must demonstrate ability to work autonomously or with a team; possess an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a hands-on, roll-up-your sleeves role.
Expertise in creating and managing strong web properties that generate strong inbound lead flow through the use of compelling content including webcasts, white papers, case studies, sales tools, newsletters, website pages, presentations and demos.
Experience using sales CRM and marketing automation systems highly desirable.
Experience with SEM/SEO highly desirable.
