Job Overview
In this role you will utilize your Lean/Six Sigma/TPM methodology/tools to identify, prioritize, and execute Continuous Improvement (CI) projects related to the operations and manufacturing functions. Your role will require you to develop trust within the businesses, resolve conflicting priorities, and develop consensus with all involved to have a clean and cohesive path forward. You will develop internal stakeholders/supplier/customers relationships in a way that encourages open dialogue and cooperation – identifying and implementing win/win projects that add value to all stakeholders.
You will be responsible and accountable for the Latin America (LATAM) region and our operations in Mexico, Central America, Ecuador and Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil and Argentina. You will need to have credibility with everyone you meet: Suppliers, Operators, Region General Leaders (GMs), and Executive Leadership. This is a position with high visibility within the organization, and with big expectations for success.
The position will be based in our Miramar Fl. Office (other locations among LATAM countries could be considered), reporting to the LATAM VP of Operations. You will help form the strategy for improving the value chain across LATAM, and deliver results through process improvement.
Main Accountabilities
Develop and implement the CI strategy for the LATAM region.
Deliver year-over-year cost improvements through program management, and as a program leader, of CI work streams against defined savings/value goals
Lead cross-functional ideation sessions in support of business operations goals
Utilize Lean/Six Sigma/TPM methodologies/tools as enablers to develop/implement the CI strategy
Create and deliver executive reporting; status and overall savings health of all operations functions
Implement and lead quarterly Operations review process, to evaluate KPIs against deliverables
Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 10 years of cross functional, program/project management experience
Minimum 10 years working in a continuous improvement format, with accountability to deliver results
Experience in manufacturing, operations management, or supply chain would be a plus
Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Master’s a plus)
Willing to travel as required (50%-80%)
Master Black belt with at least 5 years experience leading Black Belts with improvement projects across several Supply Chain functions (TPM implementation leader a plus)

In order to be effective in this role, these are the skills that are a necessity for the role:
Certified Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt
Experienced working in the LATAM region – understanding the cultural challenges
Leadership in multi-functional projects using cross-functional teams with documented savings
Experience working across company lines with customers or suppliers
Mastery of tools such as: Statistical analysis, financial analysis, mathematical modeling, hypothesis testing, and Gantt style work plans
Ability to lead/facilitate groups of people to an aligned outcome, or definition of opportunities
Experience managing to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience as a project coach
