SOUTH AMERICA TRADE EXECUTION LEAD - Cargill - Miami, FL
Providing direction to managers/supervisors and indirect staff, setting ambitious goals for the team.

Collaborating with adjacent areas and teams in order to continuously improve efficiency of the supply chain, across the different product lines in Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain (CASC) and other enterprises served.
Planning trade execution activities (long and medium-term) in the region, in line with the CASC South America Business Plan and the TE job family.
Key activities include strategy development, performance goal-setting and monitoring, talent management, relationship management with product lines leaders, customers, service suppliers and other internal interfacing areas leads (Finance, Logistics, Tax&Customs, Legal), budgeting and project management as required.
The group lead manages a team of around 120 people, in 6 different countries (Brazil, Argentina, United States, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru).
Principal Accountabilities

Develop and implement the Trade Execution strategy for the region, seeking for leading performance in terms of efficiency, customer satisfaction and cost. Develop and monitor the appropriate metrics for measuring the progress towards these goals. Contribute to the global strategy development. Explore and implement opportunities to further leverage Cargill’s offshore service centers – CBS.

Coordinate the efficient operations of the different TE offices in the region.

Coordinate the development of long and medium-term plans, including annual budgeting development and monthly progress monitoring.

Manage relationship with significant stakeholders (product line leaders, customers, authorities, third-party service providers and internal teams – e.g., logistics, finance, tax & customs, operations). Activities include but are not limited to supervision of rates negotiation, service satisfaction management with product line leaders, support to key customers, coordination of authorities interfacing (customs, regulatory), intervene in complex issues.

Actively lead and facilitate cross-functional teams on designing, implementing and reviewing work processes, targeting efficiency gains in the supply chain.

Provide guidance and recommendations to all relevant stakeholders in the Trade Execution expertise area, including costs, risks and impacts on logistics.

Champion the Cargill Leadership Model, including our safety culture, and ensure systematic talent development. Set clear expectations in terms of performance and behavior, coordinate the recruiting in alignment with those expectations and ensure appropriate talent development.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years in International Business or related areas, including significant practice in supervising cross-border flows
Demonstrated people management skills and experience leading large and diverse teams
Experience developing and executing business strategies
Ability to lead and drive change at multiple levels of the organization
Comfort with ambiguity
Continuous improvement mindset and experience driving enhanced performance over time
English full command
Travel up to 50%
Preferred
Spanish and/or Portuguese command
