Change Lead, Global Workplace Atlanta, GA


Position Overview

The Global Workplace Change Lead will be responsible for leading broad workplace and facility-related change initiatives to create an engaging, collaborative workplace environment that brings Coca-Cola’s brands to life. The ideal candidate is someone who has been involved in complex workplace change work using change management practices to guide our employees through this journey. Primary responsibilities will include driving adoption of change across large employee groups, leading active change management networks, facilitating large employee workplace engagement activities, developing and stewarding workplace standards, developing protocols on how people will work differently, developing stakeholder analyses, collaborating with design and construction teams, and heavy interaction with the Global Workplace Strategy and Operations team, the Company’s human resources, information technology and other departments to create successful implementation approaches and strategies. This person should be connected in the workplace industry community and has direct knowledge of proven techniques and approaches used in major workplace change initiatives. The role will manage several contracted position to assist in the day to day implementation work, and be a member of the Global Change Practice, partnering with that group’s communications and training teams to effectively drive change in target Coca-Cola workplace locations.

In order to implement and make the change initiatives successful, you will have to influence and make recommendations to the GBS senior leaders and below level, and guide the change teams who you collaborate with in the intended direction without having direct management responsibility.


Key Responsibilities:
Build long-term relationships with client leaders to help identify and agree on strategic priorities and roadmaps for initiatives and change to drive business value.

Create alignment across client leaders and partners to establish a clear vision/destination for client organization, partner with client leaders and subject matter experts to identify impacts and risks of changes agreed to.

Create, socialize and execute comprehensive change management plan, including impact assessments by stakeholder group, resistance and risk mitigation, measurement, structure, technology, skills and resources.Establish success measures associated with initiative and set targets for change/business readiness for key initiatives working with Director of Change Operations and function/line of business (LOB) leader.

Partner with Communications Strategy Lead and Communications Specialist to develop and execute communications plan tied to change initiative, including key messages, vehicles, and routines connecting to GBS Communications processes, relationships and routines.

Partner with GBS Capability Deployment and Training Strategy Lead to develop and execute training program to support change initiative, including materials development, geographic coverage/approach for trainers, training.

Status against change initiative plans and progress using standard Global Change Practice status reporting capability, visual management boards, participate in Global Change Practice management routines.

Participate in initiatives Project Management routines and processes.

Steward progress, issues, themes and results of change program with client leaders, Global Change Practice leaders.

Collaborate and actively participate in Global Change Practice routines, processes and activities, build community and visibly demonstrate change leadership capability.

What you need to be successful

As Global Workplace Change Lead you will deal with a lot of, mainly internal, communication complexities tied to impact, breadth and depth of change that is being implemented. Therefore, you will require strong strategic communications, visioning and influencing skills .

You will have to break large-scale change into tactical steps that are easy to execute and implement. As the process for change initiatives varies depending on the nature and culture of the impacted organizations, we are looking for an experienced project manager who is strong on execution and has the ability to manage ambiguity and communicate through change .

As you will work across all geographies of GBS (global scope), business teams and environments, being multi-lingual will be helpful but is not mandatory. You will, however, profit from cultural sensitivity and an open mindset .

Education: Bachelor´s Degree mandatory, Master´s Degree preferred.

Related Experience : This role requires a minimum of 10 years´ deep experience in designing and implementing change in a rapidly changing environment. Experience in consulting and enterprise-wide change implementation is required. Also, you should be capable of pulling from a range of Organization Effectiveness and Change Management models, processes and tools in order to successfully drive the team´s efforts.

Functional Skills

Certification in Change methodology (e.g. ADKAR/Prosci certification), PMP preferred, ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals) and IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) preferred.

Strong strategic communications.

Mature influencing skills.

Ability to balance immediate and short term needs whilst delivering results.

Good stakeholder understanding and management.

Planning and analysis, understanding detailed work analysis, business processes, financial business cases, culture and engagement measures, and desired behaviors.

Risk and mitigation planning.

Multi-lingual preferred but not mandatory.
