Marketing Designer - EVELO - New York, NY

DESCRIPTION
We are a small, fast-growing, electric bike company. We focus on developing ways to make cycling more accessible to a wider range of the population by removing barriers that keep people from cycling in the first place (hills, age, fitness levels or even arriving to work sweaty).

We are very focused on delivering an amazing customer experience to everybody who comes in touch with our company, as we believe that a friendly, personal and emphatic customer service is really what makes the customers happy and companies achieve greatness.

We have a team of about 13 awesome, friendly people right now. We are growing quickly and we are a few days away of debuting our new website, so we are looking for a perfect contract/part-time Marketing Designer to join our team.

You’ll be a part of our tight Marketing Team, and work alongside our Marketing Director (based in Argentina), our Content Manager (based in Brooklyn), and our PPC Ninja (based in Toronto).

The main thing you’ll be working on is the EVELO.com website, which includes landing pages, product pages, our blog, and more. We also have other projects, like our ElectricBikeFriendlyShops.com app.

You’ll have various responsibilities, but most of your time will be spent designing and implementing landing pages for promotions and campaigns; ideating and designing graphics for display ads and Facebook Ads; working on improvements to the evelo.com website; or brainstorming, designing and implementing A/B tests and experiments.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone who has deep experience working working with a marketing team. You need to understand eCommerce and conversion best practices, and design with the this in mind.

Most importantly, you need to be able to take a concept or problem from wireframes, to implementation. Therefore, front-end and WordPress skills are a must.

You are extremely detailed-oriented, a great communicator and organized. You can set real deadlines, and then meet them religiously.

Finally, we’ve found out that the best work comes from collaboration, so a 2 hour overlap with the EST timezone is ideal.

If you experience with conversion rate optimization, including Optimizely or Google Analytics, that’s a huge bonus!

BENEFITS

  • You’ll be able to work when, and where you are the most productive.

  • Competitive compensation, based on experience.

  • Generous vacation policy

  • Open Book Finance – everyone in our team knows our revenue, expenses, profits, and is empowered to make decisions based on it.

  • The chance to work with a small team and a product that has a real impact on our customers.
