Your Function:
Job Overview/Purpose:
As the Compliance IT Analyst, the candidate will provide specialist expertise to support the execution of IT solutions and compliance critical applications for Regional Compliance.
This role will be responsible for the development and documentation of the regional Compliance information management tool – SharePoint; ensuring availability and reliability of applications managing the Region’s Compliance Risk; developing processes and procedures; establishing and creating enterprise wide action plans and supporting in executing Compliance IT requirements.
Context of Job:
North America Compliance (NAC) is responsible for US regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering controls for Rabobank’s activities in North America aligned with Rabobank Group Standards and applicable EU regulation. The prime regulators are the DNB in the Netherlands where Rabobank is headquartered, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the New York State Department of Financial Services, the CFTC, the OCC, SEC and FINRA in the U.S. and the local regulatory authorities in Canada (OSFI) and Mexico (SHCP, CNBU and Banco de Mexico).
The business Rabobank engages primarily in within the US is Wholesale Banking activities (New York Branch), Retail (Rabobank, N.A.), Rural (Rabo Agri Finance) and Leasing (De Lage Landen). Further legal entities include the New York and Canadian branches, Mexico Rep Office, Rabo Securities USA, Inc., the broker-dealer, Utrecht-America Holdings, Inc., the bank holding company, and other U.S. entities.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Support the NAC team with regards to the recommendation and coordination of all IT related changes to support compliance updates and the projects that are related to them.
Collate Compliance information requirements and work with Regional Compliance team to establish functional and sustainable SharePoint site.
Write documentation to ensure new functionalities/SharePoint site will be properly handled by support team.
Manage and maintain SharePoint site access permissions.
Prepare test strategy, test scenarios and test cases for User Acceptance testing including liaison with Quality Assurance.
Interact with Compliance team in order to ensure transparency of progress, challenges & risks within the development of the SharePoint site.
Development and automation of reports where needed.
Liaise with stakeholders and IT to support the development of IT software for compliance related processes.
Liaise with vendors as required on Compliance risk related applications.
Create process flow diagrams where needed.
Negotiate appropriate change windows with IT and the business.
Prepare training for Regional Compliance team end users.
Champion Data Integrity for all IT systems.
Provide regular update to the Regional Chief Compliance Officer on work performed and planning status.
Responsible for IT related change monitoring activities within NAC.
Provide audit and examination evidence and support.
Identify and report issues and identify improvements opportunities regarding controls management, including documentation, effectiveness measurement, and reporting.
