Director of Sales - MAFIABAGS - San Francisco, CA

Mafia Bags was founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina and opened up a US
based office in San Francisco in late 2014. We design and manufacture
backpacks, bags, and tech accessories out of upcycled kite sails, boat
sails, and other reusable materials in the San Francisco Area. Our mission
is to create new product out of sustainable and recycled materials and to
minimize the effect manufacturing has on the environment.
We are looking for a full-time Director of Sales as we continue to grow our
company. You will be responsible for growing the
company’s wholesale business and maintaining the existing relationships.

DIRECTOR OF SALES JOB DUTIES
 Build, maintain, and expand wholesale business; building and maintaining rapport
with key accounts; identifying new opportunities
 Build the Mafia Bags brand within the retail environment
 Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan for wholesale accounts
 Manage the execution of the sales plan
 Work with the company’s existing and future US distributors and sales
representatives to achieve objectives and ensure execution
 Report to the company’s CEO with monthly sales

SKILSS/EXPERIENCE
 Bachelor’s degree (or similar) required
 3+ years of wholesale sales experience (preferably in the outdoor consumer products
industry)
 Effective communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills
 A passion for outdoor living is highly encouraged
 Self-motivated and with strong work ethic
 Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
 Knowledge of outdoor retail landscape
 Team player attitude

COMPENSATION
Base salary + commission
