Junior Accountant/HR Analyst - Boundless Spatial Inc - United States
The JA will be working from home, with the Finance Controller and CFO working remotely from SF and LA. The JA will primarily support the Finance Controller and also provide HR support, particularly, with the on-boarding process of new employees.

Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries.
Preparation of monthly financial package for senior management, including income statement, balance sheet and other schedules as required.
Manage and improve the monthly close process: sub-ledger closes, accruals, pre-payments and releases to ensure accurate financial accounts and a faster close.
Prepare account reconciliations.
Process receivables and payables transactions.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Work with third party providers to process monthly payroll.
Assist in annual tax filing and reporting requirements.
Fixed asset accounting; recording of assets, calculation and booking of depreciation.
New employee onboarding inclusive of assistance in creating contents for self-service onboarding and updating of existing documents.
Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
Requirements
2 – 3 years of Accounting experience, strong understanding of GAAP (inclusive of revenue recognition policies for professional services and/or SaaS businesses).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting.
Experience with ERP/accounting software, QuickBooks and Intaact a plus.
Exceptional attention to details
Able to work autonomously and requires little direction to meet ongoing deadlines.
