Wine Sales Representative - Exclusive Selections - New York, NY
We are wine importer/distributor looking for wine sales representatives for on-premise and off-premise sales in the New York and New Jersey area. We need someone who loves to sell, loves building relationships, and loves a career in the wine industry! Responsibilities include: – Sell our portfolio of wines produced by smaller, independent growers from Spain, Argentina and Chile to restaurants, and wine shops in your territory- Major focus of opening new accounts- Assist customers in selecting wine and building wine lists- Build strong relationships with existing and new customers- Learn our wine portfolio and train the staff of your customers- Satisfy customer needs Requirements for Success: – Uncompromising honesty and integrity- Self-motivation and organization- Exceptional interpersonal & relationship building skills. Creative thinking and resourcefulness- Intermediate wine knowledge- Desire to work on commission and incentives- Reliable transportation, auto insurance and a valid driver’s license- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position to include driving, walking, lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods of time- Enthusiasm!We are looking for a full-time sales rep that understands what it takes to be a wine sales professional.
