- Capital Markets Your Function:
Collateral Inspection Department assists the Credit Risk Department manage credit risk through review of collateral and reporting of secured loans throughout North America. Assist Department Head in various areas of Department management as assigned. Collateral Inspection Officers will primarily work remotely from their Home Office.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Collateral Inspection Planning
Collateral Audit Completion
Report Writing of Collateral Audit Findings
Communicate Audit Findings with LPO’s other Credit Staff / Bank Personnel
Supervise and Review audit work product of assistants and contractors
Assist offices in evaluating loan structure (LPO, TCF, Securitization etc)
Credit Risk Assessment
Key Relationships:
Credit Risk Staff
Relationship managers, Office Heads
Securitization Department and other product groups.
Clients
Inspection Team including staff and contractors.
Other Banks.
Key Performance Indicators:
o Timely and accurate reporting of inspection audit findings.
o Solid relationships.
o Self starter – ability to work with little or no supervision.
o Willingness to travel extensively – throughout North America
o Performance of multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Ability to work under tight deadlines.
o Very high level of cooperation and initiative to advance the interests of the Bank.
o Conduct audits effectively under time constraints with written reports having minimal revisions and positive feedback from various constituents.
o Exhibit excellent understanding of client and industry risks.
o Maintain up to date knowledge of policies, procedures and processes relevant to RI CID.
o Assess risk in assigned inspections by independently conducting review and analysis to minimize provisions. Your Profile:

Securitization Audit Experience
Proficiency in Spanish
Experience in commodities, understanding of various products used in commodities risk management.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in financial or target industry
Desirable:
At least five to seven years of collateral audit experience.
Management experience.
