Devops Engineer - Boundless - New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and configure typical and customized deployments of Boundless products in a variety of customer environments
  


• Maintain best practices and reference architectures of how Boundless products should be deployed in various environments
  


• Design, deploy and configure all components of PS solutions and software projects
  


• Develop automation scripts
  


• Assist in estimation exercises
  

About you

• 5+ years experience with Linux system administration
  


• Extensive experience and understanding of AWS
  


• Proficiency with automation tools like Chef/Puppet
  


• Working experience of Ruby, Python, and Bash
  


• Experience managing Windows Active Directory and Linux clients
  


• Have configured CI tools like Jenkins
  


• Familiarity with monitoring tools / Nagios
  


• Solid understanding of security and systems best practices
  


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  

In a perfect world, you’d also have

• Experience with geospatial software, Boundless products in particular
  


• Familiarity with managing and maintaining databases, PostgreSQL is a plus
  


• Experience working in an agile environment
  


• Experience with PowerShell
  


• A pilot’s license
