Your Function:
Job Overview/Purpose:
With the increased reporting and analysis requirements and a heightened awareness of the control environment, North America Wholesale (NAW) has created a dedicated team that focusses on data quality (DQ) assurance. The NAW Financial Quality Analyst will support the data quality monitoring, issue identification and resolution processes.
Context of Job:
NAW Finance and Control is responsible for managing the books and records and producing value-added reports & analytics that support business decisions while complying with US GAAP, RAP and IFRS. Timely, accurate, relevant data is an important input to all Finance & Control processes. The Head of Finance Data Quality is NAW is responsible for developing an overall quality assurance program over critical data and ensuring the proper controls are mitigating data quality risks. The Financial Quality Analyst will report to the Head of Finance Data Quality.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Developing an understanding of NAW Finance, Control, Operations & Business functions in order to support analysis
Managing assigned tasks through the quality assurance, issue management and/or project life cycle
Consulting with SMEs to create project documents
Supporting the implementation of firm-wide issue management and data profiling tools
Performing other project work including investigations and implementations
Reporting, tracking and communicating status and issues, based on established templates
Supporting administration and reporting of data quality training
Performing all other job duties as assigned by supervisor
Key Relationships:
The Financial Data Analyst will interact with internal stakeholders in Finance, Information Technology & Operations, the Businesses, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance and Change Management teams. Your Profile:

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline
5+ years business analysis experience
5+ years Banking experience
Ability to quickly assimilate business and technical content
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Experience working in a matrixed organization
Ability to effectively challenge colleagues to improve work products and/or outcomes
Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
Effective time management
Proficiency with PC applications
Desirable:
Exposure to change management within Finance and Accounting functions
Familiarity with Data Management principles
