Regional Sales Director, Central America. Colobia Based - Wireless Mobile Jobs - United States

I am currently searching for a Regional Sales Director to manage sales in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Central America with both Telecom Service Providers (SP) and Critical Infrastructure (Utilities, Water, Transportation, Oil & Gas, HLS, ATC).

My client is a large telecoms company with a turnover of +$1billion, specializing in service assurance access solutions and software defined networks (SDN) and NFV (network function virtualization).


This is a home based role and you should be able to travel for 50%+ of your time though the region. You will need to have a good grounding in managing and developing sales through system integrators/distributors, as well as working directly with the end customer, whether it be a mobile operator, for example, or a large enterprises in at least several of these countries.


We are looking for someone with at least 5 years sales experience selling solutions to one or more of these channels, with a proven track record of sales success.


The person will need to be ambitious and keen to grow and develop existing accounts, as well as winning and developing new accounts. You should also be used to working remotely from a company HQ and interacting with international project teams, as well as able to develop strong business relationships with the channel and end customers.


The solutions are technical, so we are also looking for someone who ideally has a technical degree, or technically trained.


You will need to be fluent in English with Spanish being your mother tongue.
