The Regional Specialty Manager for Colorectal will contribute to the sustainable growth of Ethicon by integrating a competitive value proposition within the Specialty. This role will be responsible for shaping specialty care pathways through insights and research and by addressing opportunities to develop the Colorectal market through strategies associated with KOL, Professional societies and Faculty management. This regional manager will also transform key insights into defined non-clinical solutions to foster market growth. He/She will also drive collaboration with Marketing platforms, Centers of Excellence and Functional Areas to execute a specialty growth strategy which will allow Ethicon to expand/enter new procedures/conditions within the surgical specialty.

Key Responsibilities: 1) Generate and integrate specialty value proposition and position current and pipeline brands for the specialty 2) Identify unmet needs and emerging interventional approaches within the surgical specialty, and identify needed technologies to enable these approaches. Shaping specialty care pathways through insights and research 3) Define and Develop non-product solutions in line with the identified specialty needs and opportunities. 4) Assess and quantify opportunities to improve market share and profitability within specialty. Enter into new procedures/conditions within the surgical specialty. Gather and analize marketing intelligence data and provide strategic feedback for the organization. 5) Represent Ethicon LatAM in the therapeutic category in various internal and external forums. 6) Partner closely with other Regional Specialty Leads, Brand Leaders, Surgeon and Society Influencers. Develop a stakeholder strategy for KOLs, Faculty and Professional societies relevant to the specialty. Collaborate across Ethicon platforms to assess the market insights, product concepts, marketplace dynamics, and to ensure that the stakeholders’ voices are included in strategies 7) Lead a near-term Platform Specialty Strategy Team driving collaboration with COEs and Functional Areas (Regulatory, HEMA, NCSH, Med Affairs, Pricing, Finance, and Marketing) to develop a holistic, therapeutic specialty growth strategy. 8) Manage gross profit targets for projects, and deliver projects within a designated budget and timeline. 9) Partner with PLT leaders in the region to develop global Ethicon Franchise Specialty Strategies for product pipelines 10) Ensure alignment with Global programs and initiatives to deliver results. Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures 11) Contribute directly in the development of the business strategy within the different clusters of the region. Works closely with OC; provides recommendations / input to for the development of BU marketing strategy considering the region market needs. 12) Responsible for developing marketing collateral and support materials aligned to above strategies 13) Drive cross-market communication and learning to ensure best practices and competitive insight are shared across markets. 14) Responsible for executing new standards of Marketing Excellence in the organization.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Education: A minimum of a BS / BA is required, MBA Preferred. Experiences and Skills: – 5 years or more of management experience in combination of Sales/Marketing roles. Regional experience is desired. – Experience in healthcare industry, medical device/surgery markets preferred; demonstrated ability to understand product portfolios and specialty approach in the healthcare environment. – Strong marketing and business acumen. Strong analytical skills

Language: Fluency in English required, portuguese desirable

Travel percentage: 30-40% Overnight travel may be required.

Additional competencies: – Exceptional customer focus and relationship building skills; experienced in developing effective relationships across a diverse group of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in both public and private domains. – Demonstrated success of collaboration and interface with critical internal and external stakeholders and substantial customer interface – Demonstrated enterprise mindset, with ability to influence and collaborate across cluster, regional and global, matrixes environments to achieve business objectives – Proven experience in influencing agendas, defining strategies and understanding of how to support them with implementation – Strong leadership with the ability to influence teams without direct line of reporting.

Location of the role: This role can be located in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile or Argentina.
