Your Function:
Rabobank’s North American Trade and Commodity Finance Group is headquartered in New York and manages a group of Food & Agribusiness, Energy and Metals & Minerals relationships with companies located in the United States. The Group provides TCF, structured trade finance products and ownership based products to clients of both TCF and the Corporate Bank. The junior RM job will be on TCF Agri team.
The Junior RM works with the team’s senior relationship managers to represent Rabobank to new and existing clients to market TCF products and appropriate other products (cross sell) as well as and to assist clients’ efforts to build and maintain their business within the solvency, credit and risk profile established by the Bank. The RM will work with clients who require predominantly reliable sources of senior debt, with a focus on the TCF Agribusiness Sector.
Has basic knowledge of credit analysis, laws, policies, procedures and facts relevant to a general lending and marketing professional within Rabobank.
Works with RM’s to identify prospects, prepare customer marketing materials such as pitch books and follow up presentations.
Assist in the active management of client relationships and respond to client requests in absence of RM’s. Works with RM’s to ensure high quality and prompt response to customer request
Attends customer meetings with RM and actively contribute to discussion and development of the relationship. Assists with the preparation of call reports.
Supports RM’s to ensure successful credit approval and execution of transactions.
Suports RM’s to assemble and complete Know Your Customer documentation requirements.
Prospect new relationships and new business opportunities against client target list.
Your Profile:
Bachelors Degree in related studies
Credit training program or related experience
2 or more years of banking experience, including selling traditional lending products
High level of computer skills, including Power Point and Excel.
Able to think critically and exhibit intellectual curiosity
Excellent writing skills
Excellent verbal communications skills.
Able to handle multiple projects/tasks
Self motivated and able to work independently
Team player with desire to work collaboratively within the team
