Market Intelligence Manager - Kennesaw GA - Markem Imaje - Kennesaw, GA
The Market Intelligence Manager will own the customer, market and competitive intelligence space for the Americas Business Unit. This role will work with the corporate MI/CI function to balance the tactical needs of the BU with the strategic needs of the overall organization. A heavy emphasis will be placed on the quality of leads and revenue being generated from these activities. The role will include ownership of the tools being used to generate these insights e.g. SalesForce.
Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:
Market & Competitive Intelligence : Complete ownership of collection, analysis & dissemination of tactical market and competitive intelligence for US and Canada, and partial ownership of the same for Mexico and LATAM
Work in concert with the global market and competitive intelligence team
Analyze the tactical information gathered with the strategic level data gathered at the corporate level
Leverage internal & external tools to operationalize the process across Americas BU… SalesForce, Euromonitor etc.
Work with Mexico, Argentina & LAM ID Marketing team to support and complement as needed
Lead Generation : Complete ownership of lead collection, analysis and tracking for USA and Canada… campaign management, reporting, insights, follow up and recommendations. Also, continuous management of the Americas Insides Sales team to support and mentor as needed to achieve their defined goals.
Data Analysis : Analyze past sales data to gain insights into customer behavior, pricing trends & market feedback. This analysis would include Lost deal analysis, TAM calculation, Competitive Landscape analysis by segment, Unmet Needs analysis, Pricing Elasticity etc.
SalesForce : Complete ownership of SFDC within the NAM BU (super user role) including training other NAM personnel, ensuring data integrity, data analysis, system improvements (with support from global SFDC team) etc.
Customer Intel : Conduct VOCs across various product lines & VM segments, especially internally with Sales in order to gather customer insights that will drive product development activities.
Marketing Operations: Create reporting dashboards, automation and process improvements to drive business insights and actions across various market segments and key accounts
Ongoing support and monitoring of market size and share across Americas BU, including participating in identifying and consolidating global data sources for the same.
Required Skills
Knowledge & Skills:
Salesforce experience required
Intermediate Excel skills required
SAP experience preferred
Experience with data visualization and analysis (e.g. Spotfire or Tableau) preferred
Languages: Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Needs to have an independent mindset with an ability and desire to take complete ownership of projects and their outcomes.
Able to switch between executions oriented (hands-on) tasks (e.g. Salesforce account maintenance & data quality) and strategic initiatives (e.g. analysis of top target market segments and key messaging required).
Enjoys the b2b2c space and being in an industrial setting (marking & coding equipment on manufacturing lines) while still working with CPG customers.
Willing to roll up their sleeves and chase customer leads, analyze trends resulting from those efforts in order to further improve BU marketing activities and eventually drive higher revenue from that work.
Is comfortable interacting with people in a virtual setting (e.g. phone calls with Sales Engineers) on a daily basis in order to gain insights on customer, market and competitive trends.

Work Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of equivalent work experience required
Past marking & coding experience and/or consulting experience in an industrial/CPG space preferred
