Product Manager, Data - Sony Music Entertainment - New York, NY
The Orchard is looking for a Product Manager for Data to join our talented NYC product team.
Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of a data driven product strategy at The Orchard, from identifying what information needs to be captured and how it should be leveraged Drive the product strategy and roadmap for The Orchard’s data engineering team Inform the product and engineering teams when making large scale schema and data collection decisions Evaluate emerging technologies and determine the relevance to The Orchard, our engineers and our data strategy Be an evangelist for data throughout the organization
Qualifications:
Data science, computer science or other equivalent technical experience Strong familiarity with Google Analytics, New Relic, Looker and equivalent data tools and ability to turn information from those sources into actionable items on the product roadmap Significant experience with data processing pipelines (ETLs) and analytics platforms Experience gathering requirements and writing use cases Ability to influence cross-functional teams and eventually create a consensus between stakeholders, product managers and engineers Strong organizational and analytical skills paired with the ability to drive complex projects Experience working in an agile environment Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
