Regional S&OP Manager - North America, Cargill Malt - Cargill - Wayzata, MN
We run two technical centers, one in Belgium and one in the United States. These facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art micro- and mini-malting facilities, as well as pilot breweries. We also have access to two beverage application centers and two food innovation centers, giving customers superior R&D and innovation capabilities.
Position Purpose:
Reporting directly to the BU Global Supply Chain and S&OP Manager, each of the Regional S&OP Managers is responsible for the execution of the S&OP strategy in their geographies, developing annual, monthly and weekly horizons models. Working together with the corresponding Operations / Commercial Regional leaders, Plant Managers, Barley Supply Chain Managers the individual in this role is responsible for coordinating the demand, manufacturing and supply reviews and is expected to improve, refine and adapt the BU S&OP processes to the particular needs of the region and with the goal in mind of generating continuous improvements in the end-to-end process
Principal Accountabilities:
30% Ensure the BU $&OP process and methodology is adopted and efficiently executed across the Region based on the particular needs and capabilities of the local teams. Coordinates the execution of production planning, supply chain procurement, inventory control, forecasting, sales planning, warehousing, transportation, logistics, budgets and overall customer service with on time delivery. Implement profit improvement and change management plans
30% Execute an effective Demand Planning process that maximize cost reductions and cross collaboration between
all stakeholders involved. Develop annual inbound plans for the region with prioritization and resourcing references. Understand customers’ needs and develop and implement new demand planning systems and tools representing continuous improvement and contributing to the business growth.
30% Monitoring marketplace trends, oversees the management of the strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting and inventory flow, addressing tactical and strategic supply chain issues and establishing key performance indicators for all these areas
10% Staying informed of advances in the supply / demand chain technology, develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities including metrics and reports and ensure corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Develop management and project reports.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree higher
5 plus years of work experience in supply chain execution, operative planning, change management
Relevant management experience in progressively responsible positions in a supply chain based environment, multinational, diverse and multi-product lines organization.
Exposure to management systems, production and processing, project management, order management and fulfillment
Warehousing and logistics, customer, service planning tools
Analytical thinking, ability to make sound decisions in a fast paced changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
