Global Business Services HR Consultant Atlanta, GA

Position Overview

This position is part of the HR Consulting Services Group within Global Business Services (GBS). The GBS HR Consultant is responsible for advising and partnering with the HR Strategic Business Partners on the work activities in support of HR Service Delivery for Corporate and North America Business Unit employees. Scope encompasses consulting support for Re-Organizations/Restructures, Employee Data Management, Data Components of New Hire, Separation and Retirement processes. This role partners with the GBS Work Force Administration (WFA) team in the Costa Rica Services Center, who are responsible for transactions and HR Services at TCCC, to ensure seamless end-to-end support.


Key Responsibilities:


  • The GBS HR Consultant will act as a trusted business advisor and single point of contact to the HR Strategic Business Partners, cross-functional team members, managers and employees.

  • Proactive consulting on HRIS/data in line with the business needs.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement for activation of HR programs and will participate in special projects (i.e., Company restructures, Global Mobility, Mergers and Acquisitions, etc.).

How to be Successful:

  • Provide end to end support to SBP’s during reorganizations and complex key events

  • Serve as first point of contact related to questions and problem solving of complex issues during moments that matter

  • Ensure successful transfers within KO including U.S., Canada, and other global moves

  • Cross functional SME for from Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, GBS Global Workplace Rights and Enabling Functions in processes to ensure smooth transitions for the KO employee populations

  • Synchronize the moves with the enabling functions (Finance, IT, Procurement, etc.)

  • Partner with Org. Mgt. and Emp. Admin. COE to lend region specific business and organization

knowledge on how best to reflect major restructures, mergers and acquisitions in SAP-HR in alignment with data standards

  • Participate in OE and Ad-hoc projects or working groups as required

  • Carry out duties that may be outside of the standard remit of the role, for the purposes of personal development or as may reasonably be required in order to better support the clients/business

  • Ability to perform in-depth research, gather facts, and use extensive and effective analytical and evaluative methods to accurately assess information and make sound decisions involving complex position management problems

  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with management officials, supervisors, employees, and others, to ensure effective collaboration

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Related Experience: 7+ years’ experience in HR Consulting or Business Partner role. Strong knowledge of SAP required. WorkDay knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of process and procedure development and activation; OE certification and metrics expertise a plus.
