Rate: $60-$70 per hour
Term: Contract (min. of 6 months)

Expected Experience :

• PM for any insurance related projects is preferred

• Quickly understand project objectives and balance against competing constraints of cost, schedule, scope and quality throughout the project lifecycle.


• Develop realistic delivery timelines in coordination with product management, scrum team and other stakeholders.


• Able to manage waterfall projects and scrum teams simultaneously and interact with multiple levels of management, both internal and external.


• Manage project Risks, Actions, Issues and Defects through tracking tools.


• Must be proactive, have excellent communication skills, work well in a matrix organization, and adapt well to change in a fast-paced environment.


• Manage scrum and ticketing activities for multiple scrum teams following Agile Software Project Management processes.


• Work closely with the IT Business and Development Managers and Project Management to develop and regularly maintain reports and dashboards for matrix project activities spanning scrum teams.


• Collaborate with Product Managers, IT Business and Development teams to refine, organize, and prioritize requirements in accordance with corporate strategies and goals.


• Work closely with Scrum Teams and managers across organizational unit boundaries to drive productivity and deliver solutions.


• Facilitate daily standups, meetings, working sessions, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.


• Facilitate project kick-offs and traditional waterfall project planning, schedule development and tracking

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:

• Manage and support reporting of financials on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Secondary Skills:

• Ability to work in fast changing environment


• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle


• Experience with project management using an agile methodology


• Experience with large, transformation programs


• Experience in global organization

Role Profile:
The qualified candidate should understand the Project Management Principles in the management and overall delivery of highly visible and mission critical projects. The communication skills are key to enable the Senior Project Manager to institute strategies to ensure senior management, project stakeholders, the business and IT teams have the appropriate level of information for the projects that they are responsible for. This would include but not limited to project plans, status reports, capturing issues and risks, accomplishments, financials as well as monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership. As a Certified Scrum Master the qualified candidate will be using the Agile methodology and lead the Scrum Teams to facilitate and demonstrate value-add principles to the team. One of the key skillsets is to be a servant leader and ensure that Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to and be the voice of reason and authority to make strong decisions to move the teams forward.
