Your Function:
Job Overview/Purpose:
Finance is responsible for the financial, management, and regulatory reporting for North America. The group ensures proper policies and procedures are in place governing the entire reporting process, including budget, profit & loss, balance sheet, economic capital, MT packages, and other reporting requirements. This position also plays an integral role with the businesses and support areas as an advisor, liaison and process innovator in a business control function.
Context of Job:
This position reports to the Regulatory Reporting Group (VP) who is a part of the Regional CFO’s team.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Understanding DFAST rules and regulations
A thorough understanding of FR Y-16
Preparation of Regulatory and/or IFRS Head Office Reports.
Analysis of reporting data quality.
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of the reports.
Preparation of financial statement and analysis.
Maintain up to date with Policy and Procedures.
Development and automation of reports.
Assist internal and external audit examinations.
Staying informed on new reporting requirements and regulations.
Key Relationships:
Risk management, internal model developers and FP&A
Federal Reserve Bank analyst.
Head Office staff
E&Y auditors
Internal groups within Finance and Control Department
Internal groups in Operation and Business Departments
Internal Audit Department

Qualifications:
Essential:
Knowledge of Dodd-Frank as it pertains to stress testing
A thorough understanding of Reg form FR Y-16
Knowledge of financial and management accounting systems
BS – Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or BA in Economics or relevant work experience
At least 5 years in Financial Reporting or Controller’s function
Desirable:
Knowledge of Peoplesoft GL/EPM and Hyperion
Previous CCAR or QIS experience a plus
