IS Coordinator - Prudential - Newark, NJ
Prudential International Insurance (PII) continues to be one of Prudential’s fastest growing and most profitable business groups. PII has operations in eleven countries around the world (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, China, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Poland, and Italy) and is looking to fill a new IS Coordinator position in the Human Resources department in Newark, New Jersey.
PII Human Resources department is looking to add one position to the International Insurance HR Risk & Process Management team. The team handles/supports a variety of processes including; international assignment support, HR information systems (HRIS), equity compensation administration for international participants, HR risk management and information security. This position will report to the manager of PII Information Security and will primarily support information security and human resource information system requirements with the opportunity for additional cross training within the team.
Responsibilities include:
Work with local PII international operations and business partners to provide access support to Prudential systems.
Responsible for troubleshooting user access issues for PII and the local PII international operations.
Recertification of system access for PII and PII international operations
Support business system requirements
Support Information Security Manager in coordination of new initiatives which will have impact to countries system access
Coordinate HRIS updates and HRIS administrative tasks for PII.
Responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of HR data maintained in the PII local operations and the HR data maintained in the U.S. HRIS
Support special initiatives Qualifications
BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with service providers to provide excellent customer support
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Problem solver with ability to understand business processes, analyze information and follow through to resolve issues
Strong analytical, data and process management skills
Proficiency with MS Office applications ? Word, Excel
Prior experience in a functional business analyst role working with all levels of management
Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills, experience in working across multiple cultures would be a plus.
Knowledge and experience with Information Security and tools such as ISAMS is preferred
Experience in protecting sensitive information
