General description: International Studies Abroad is a study abroad provider with 29 destination
countries that that encompass 73 distinct and exciting cities. ISA has been
providing quality study abroad programs for U.S. college students since 1987.
Our study abroad program sites include a variety of cities in Argentina,
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic,
Dominican Republic, England, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland,
Italy, Japan, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, South Africa, South
Korea, Spain, Thailand, and Turkey. We provide short-term faculty-led programs
through ISA Custom Programs; experiential programming through the ISA
Internships and ISA Service-Learning divisions and also provide study abroad
programs for high school students through our sister company ISA High School.
Working closely with the host universities abroad, ISA provides students with a
study abroad experience that is academically challenging and culturally
rewarding.
Site Visits Responsibilities:
- Coordinate bi-annual Group Site Visits, and frequent Individual Site
Visits, including the visit dates,
travel logistics and visit itinerary
- Manage the process of collecting post-visit evaluations, and defining
and implementing a course of
action for Group Site Visits
- Manage the process of group site visit invitation and registration
- Manage the post-visit communication for Individual Site Visits, answer
any questions, and provide
additional information as needed
- Maintain system of tagging site visit participants through the HomeIDB
- Work with Lisette and IT to develop the new Site Visit Database and
it’s integration to the Advisors Portal
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Senior VP, this position provides
administrative and secretarial support for the Senior VP. In addition to
writing, filing and scheduling, duties include coordinating meetings and
conferences, and working on special projects. This position is also expected to
answer non-routine correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive
information, an addition to communicating with a diverse group of important
internal and external contacts.
- Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a
diverse and significant workload.
- This job requires good project management skills and very strong
writing skills.
- Schedule domestic and international travel logistics for Senior VP and
others, as necessary.
- Maintain accurate, clear, concise meeting minutes as necessary.
- Organize and prioritize large volumes of email correspondence and phone
calls.
- Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including
high-level staff.
- Work independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Approximately once each year, carry the ISA emergency phone 24/7 for a
period of one week and be prepared to answer phone calls in the evening and
week-end.
- Expected to answer phones during busy hours and possibly during a
designated time frame
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong communication skills within all levels of the organization and
across a variety of cultures.
- Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail and able to work
in a fast paced environment.
- High level of personal integrity and degree of confidentiality.
- Proven ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize tasks.
- Excellent note taking skills.
- Clean driving record.
Travel:
- Occasional travel is expected for this position. May be asked to
conduct a campus visit.
