Business Development Manager - Bematech - Houston, TX

OBJECTIVE
Business development manager responsible for building Valued-Added Resellers (VARs) network and generating new business for the organization. Focus is to get new customers and up-sell existing ones. To identify, qualify and close business opportunities by cultivating and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all potential and existing customers. They are also important in providing the business with information which can be helpful with product development, service improvement or competitive information.


Looking for an outgoing self starter. This position reports to the VP of Sales for NA. This position will assist with partnership development through promotions and reaching out to VARs and end users. This position is full time and offers commission as well as health benefits, 401K and a great opportunity for career growth.


Responsibilities
– Channel development


  • Supports current Bematech reseller channel sales

  • Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services

  • Identifies development potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities

  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities

  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts

– Solution selling


  • Follows sales objectives by developing new business channels focus on VAR & Mega Reseller channel sales

  • Recruit and train partners on Bemacash solution

  • Support Bemacash implementation process

  • Provide in-field feedback to software development team regarding Bemacash

– Sales management


  • Develops sales by making initial presentation; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services; understanding account requirements

  • Closes sales by overcoming objections

  • Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments

  • Enhances department and organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add business revenues

  • Develops negotiating strategies

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements for the job
BA degree
5+ years work experience in Sales
40% travel required
Knowledge of Software Sales, Point Of Sale Systems, in-store technology
Retail/Hospitality or merchant card services a plus
Skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Negotiation and closing skills
Knowledge of CRM software
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Candidate must be confident, hard working, assertive, organized, target focused and a self starter
