Business Intelligence Technical Specialist

The ideal candidate has a proven track record designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions for dashboards, scheduled reports, Adhoc queries, adding customizations using HTML or Java Script and decision support.

We’re looking for an energetic individual who would like to grow with the fast-growing online advertisement business and to build large-scale data platforms to support Real-Time Bidding system.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into specifications to drive data warehouse, data mart design, configuration, and building of Dashboards and reports


• Must be familiar with BI concepts, practices, procedures, and use of ETL tools to load and validate the data into data warehouse and data marts


• Provide day to day support and performance of BI environments for both external and internal users


• Identifies, research and implement innovative ways to integrate third party tools (Examples would be D3.js and Google Reports) to build state of the art reports


• Good understanding of code migration along with usage of technology best practices and guidelines


• Should be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision

Key Competencies and Experience:

• 3+ yrs. experience in developing business intelligence Dashboards and reports


• Experience working with BI software like GoodData, Tableau, Logianalytics, iDashboards, etc.


• Excellent knowledge in Columnar and DBMS databases, solid SQL coding skills (HP Vertica, Redshift, Postgresql, Netezza)


• ETL and embedding reports (White Labeling) with external/internal applications experience is a plus


• Excellent scripting skills in one or more (Java Script, Shell, Python etc.)


• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution
