Business Planning Analyst - Ford Motor Company - Dearborn, MI
Position Duties
The Ford Credit Technical Infrastructure Services Organization has a wide range of responsibilities including: Production Management, Telephony Technologies, Latin America System Services, Ford Credit Argentina Planning and Operations, Services Management, Operations, Computer and Network Services and Ford Credit Engineering. The FC Technical Infrastructure team runs, protects, plans and engineers Ford Credit IT infrastructure services.
Position duties include:
Maintaining organization budgets/forecasts, as well as tracking monthly actuals. Additionally, assisting with task efficiency tracking to meet IT operational targets
Assisting with month-to-month, forecast-to-forecast, & full year variance performance reporting for management
Interacting with organization management to develop, track budgets/forecasts & report plan variances
Working closely with organization to support financial activities
Providing budget process information to supervisors to ensure forecasts are realistic, expenses are calendarized properly and plans are within forecasted levels
Maintaining program level tracking for sources of IT funding
Reconciling actuals and forecast, and reporting on variances to organization
Supporting budget processes
Completing operational documentation for budget processes
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years’ experience with budget analysis, tracking and reporting
2+ years’ experience managing, developing, reconciling, processing of metrics
Preferred Requirements
Previous communication experience
Previous Ford Credit IT experience
Previous experience creating and reporting business plans/metrics
Experience working on a global team with geographically distributed team members
Strong mathematical skills
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
Ability to perform tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to develop strong working relationships
Utilizes analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and problem solving approach
Accountability for ensuring process discipline
Collaborate and communicate effectively with others
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of management
Strong knowledge of the MS Office 2010 product suite and SharePoint
