Your Function:
Perform back office processing of all Money Market Products and FX for the New York Branch. Ensure accurate processing of trades, which results in accurate profitability reporting, risk position, and payments.

Key Responsibilities:
Process or confirm all FX or MM trades into their respective processing systems. This includes but not limited to FX Spot, and Forwards, MM Time Deposits, CD, CP, and MTN issuances. Ensuring all transactions are confirmed and processed daily.

Maintains excellent relations with customers and other departments. Actively participates and proactively

Supports customer’s needs. Takes customer’s signals serious to be able to offer the best possible service.

Issues/problems will be resolved in a timely manner. Monitoring and maintaining clean reconciliations as well as following up and coordination efforts with Marketing Officers, inter-departments, customers, which will be handled professionally and expeditiously. Supervisor and/ or Manager is kept informed of progress at all times.

Contributes consistently for over-all efficiency and team-work. Demonstrates a willingness to take on responsibility and to assist others/colleagues to achieve the department’s goals and upholds the bank’s name.

Promote effectiveness and efficiency within the department by looking to improve current processes by reviewing policies and procedures and ensuring accuracy and consistency whereby creating clear, thorough and up to date procedures.

Cover back up desk when on vacation.

Assist co-workers when needs arise.

Participate in User Acceptance Testing for new systems and enhancements.

Your Profile:
Qualifications:
At least 3 years banking experience

College degree or equivalent experience/outside education and training.

Knowledge of SWIFT

Proven ability to work under pressure

Proven communication skills

Job Skills & Knowledge:
Provide excellent customer service to all clients, both internal and external ensuring that transactions are processed accurately in accordance with established credit guidelines and Bank’s policies and procedures.

Ability to investigate and resolve problems inherent to a transaction.

Should be able to quickly determine problems and their resolution by looking at the counter-party confirmations, position reports, or cash reconciliations.

Process activity accurately and on a timely basis and work independently with minimum supervision.

Demonstrates technical expertise and skills required to manage the assigned accounts.

Be ready, willing and able to assist and support other staff should the need arise. Show high level of cooperation with team members and work closely to assist in times of unusually high volume.
