.NET Developer 5121505 - Professional Technical Resources - Portland, OR

Must work on site in Portland.

No visa candidates, no third party submittals

Travel to Argentina 3-4 times per year

Position Description:

You will be the technical liaison between a client and an offshore development/test team. You will build core business, technology, and industry expertise helping to deliver technical solutions that enable client’s core business capabilities. You will interface with the client to gather solution / non-functional requirements, contribute towards developing technical specifications, team enablement, and tasked with building solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Communicating requirements to Business Users, stakeholders and project team members
  


• Verifying that the implemented solution meets the requirements
  


• Self-management of estimates, tasks, escalations, risks/issues.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of relevant experience as an enterprise architect or technical project manager.
  


• Development utilizing the following Microsoft skills: C#.NET, ASP.Net / Web Services / MVC, WCF / REST Services, ORM, TSQL, Triggers, and JavaScript / JQuery.
  


• Expertise with large-scale enterprise grade applications.
  


• Expertise in designing high-level solution architecture and loosely couple integration solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies.
  


• Extensive experience of UML Diagrams
  


• Excellent status Reporting, Metrics skills
  


• Experience translating business requirements into functional requirements, system requirements and application designs
  


• High level understanding of the software design Principles
  


• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum Methodology
  


• Excellent customer interfacing skills, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and professionalism
  


• Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  


• Ability to clearly articulate concepts to people with varying technical background.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge/experience with Node.js
