Your Function:
Job Overview/Purpose:
The Project Manager oversees all aspects of a project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. The Project Manager is responsible for co-ordination and completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarising progress of the project. The Project Manager may be responsible for more than one project at a time.
Context of Job:
Project Management and Administration (part of IS&D) provides the support services to both department leadership and business areas. Some of these services may include but are not limited to:

Additional support for department and project portfolio as needed
Job Holder will provide project, business analysis and test management services for projects. While the Job Holder will report, hierarchically, to ISD Manager of Project Management and Administration, each individual project will have its own reporting structure.
The goal of the Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) project, a work stream under the US Enhanced Prudential Standards (EPS) Program, is to implement an IT solution to implement LRM functionality to deliver the FR2052a Regulatory Liquidity Report as well as Cash Flow generation and Stress Testing functionality and reporting.
The project manager will be responsible for finance and risk data delivery for the North America Wholesale (NAW) entity to the Data Warehouses in the Netherlands (Head Office)
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
As Project manager Job Holder have the following responsibilities for each project they manage:
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
Effectively applies Prince2 methodology and enforces project standards.
Sets and manages client expectations
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
Minimizes our exposure and risk on project
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Manages project budget.
Ensures timely and accurate payment of invoicing, and monitors all costs for project.
Understands basic cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
Understands our invoicing procedures.
Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
Effectively conveys our message in both written and verbal discussions.
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
Holds regular status meetings with project team.
Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on projects

5 to 7 years of financial industry experience
