Vice President, Marketing R&D


Description:
The Marketing Analytics group is a lean and fast-paced team that evaluates business performance, marketing programs, product promotions, and the financial impact of marketing strategies for $1.5 billion Latin America region. The Marketing Analytics team works directly with the brand President, Vice Presidents, and franchisees to develop marketing strategies for countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Argentina. The team also develops sales and volume forecasts to estimate impact on financials, profitability, and supply chain.


The Manager will be responsible for all work streams related to Marketing Analytics and is expected to help guide overall business strategy for the region.


Supervisory:
The Manager directly manages 2 employees to support all marketing and business analytics for the Latin America region.


Responsibilities:
Manage analytics team to make data-driven recommendations and develop business strategies


Analyze sales, volume, and pricing data to evaluate business performance, product promotions, marketing programs, and pricing strategies


Develop monthly and annual sales and volume forecasts to ensure success of marketing strategies and to mitigate inventory risk for franchisees


Provide appropriate parties with timely, accurate and insightful analysis of marketing programs and tests


Work with IT teams to enable clear visibility into business metrics


Supervise, manage and develop a team of 2 analysts and interns


Minimum Requirements


4-8 years relevant work experience in consulting, finance, or another highly-analytical background


Bachelor’s Degree from top-tier institution. Concentration in Economics, Business Administration, hard sciences or Engineering preferred


MBA a plus, though not required


Ability to thrive in a performance-focused and results-oriented environment


Exceptional level of ownership mentality, self-motivation, and entrepreneurial spirit


Strong analytical and presentation skills (Excel and PowerPoint)


Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation)


Authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship will not be offered)


Willingness to travel internationally, specifically in Latin America


Spanish fluency preferred, but not required
