The position is responsible for the upload of multiple countries payroll related data onto the required payroll vendor online tools, download of the each countries payroll outputs, distribution to the relevant individuals or teams within the BMS business. Position is also responsible for approving multiple countries local payrolls.


Ensure all assigned LatAm multiple countries payrolls are processed timely and accurately (any combination of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezula, Mexico, Chile payroll experience).

Back up other LatAm countries payrolls and implement processes improvements related to multiple countries payroll delivery

Provide Tier 2 support to all assigned LatAm multiple countries payroll query ensuring responses are dealt with in a timely manner. Where required, follow up with vendors or escalate to Regional Payroll Lead/payroll supervisor

Respond to more complex queries about payroll; for example: termination payments that require assistance from PWC or legal advice/payroll reporting and understanding the requirements to ensure the data provided meets requirements, annual Workcover calculations and lodgement, managing internal & external audits

Use global payroll tools and prepare appropriate payroll calculations to ensure proper payroll processing for all assigned countries

Serve as a subject matter expert for time and attendance for assigned countries.

Support the Regional Payroll Lead in providing advice to the business for Tour of Duties (TOD’s), secondments and International Assignees (IA’s)

Facilitate and participate in governance process used for analysis and approval of LatAm multiple countries payroll work requests and projects; Assist with payroll projects as assigned

Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in LatAm multiple countries payrolls remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices

Interface with payroll and benefits vendors, as needed, to ensure compliance with established procedures.

Analyze vendor SLAs and maintain a scorecard to communicate performance to global process leaders and regional delivery leads.

Assess the delivery impact of any HR management policy changes, regulatory or compliance changes may have on the service provider and BMS Payroll operations;

Documentation and review of payroll processing procedures

Review LatAm payrolls before final sign off from Regional Payroll lead.

Collaborate with Total Rewards team to understand the savings and benefits calculations and the impact on payroll calculation.

Coordinate with Outsourced Service Provider regarding all policies, programs and processes related to multiple countries payrolls.

Work with the BMS HR Service Delivery Team to ensure service provider is achieving SLA’s

Aid in overseeing the implementation of payroll system solutions for acquisitions.

Interface with Total Rewards COE to identify and address any administrative needs related to global compensation and benefit programs. Leverage expertise to produce solutions that enable global consistency and standardization and facilitate exceptional performance.


Qualifications Must Have Requirements:
2 – 4 years of LatAm Payroll Operations experience for multiple countries is required. (any combination of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezula, Mexico, Chile payroll experience)

2 to 4 years experience in Service Center and with a third party service provider environment and /or HR & payroll outsource environment.

Must speak, read and write Spanish and English.

Degree preferred in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.

The Executive Catalyst will be responsible for:


  • Coordinating, overseeing and performing a wide variety of administrative and program support activities on behalf of the Senior Stakeholder

  • Maintaining rapport with customers, managers and employees by arranging continuing contacts; researching and developing new services and methods; setting priorities; resolving problem situations

  • Employing their high level of expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, and other software and administrative tools in the service of executives or managers

  • Maintaining the databases, generate reports, check emails, mails and send prompt replies for the action to be taken in a timely manner

  • Scheduling and attending confidential management and board meetings, prepare agendas and transcribe or distribute minutes of the meetings to the attendees

– Respond to queries (e.g. how-to, who-to), provide process documentation (e.g., renewals workflow, govt workflows of Lead-to-Order / Renewal-to-Order processes
– Acting as the liaison among internal stakeholders to analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements for platform applications
– Direct the requirements development for applying technology to satisfy business needs.
– Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity in platform applications
– Create training materials and documentation for Salesforce.com users and train new end users on Salesforce.com and related applications.
– Monitor user adoption rates and respond as needed (e.g., additional training sessions, communication, system modifications, etc.)
– Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks. Provide significant contributions in the testing and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.
