Capability Deployment and Training Strategy Lead based in Atlanta, GA

Position Overview As Capability Deployment and Training Strategy Lead you will be responsible for the strategy, oversight, implementation and execution of key Global Business Services (GBS) programs to a broad base of GBS associates around the world through leading the design, development and implementation of solutions that increase the knowledge, skills and abilities of our associate and client base.


In this role you will execute learning and development (L&D) strategies aligned to building core capabilities in our people , and be the primary liaison between our Company and key external partners, while working closely with both leaders and internal partners (Coca-Cola University).


As part of the Global Change Practice leadership team you will help lead Global Change Practice routines, processes and activities, build the community and visibly demonstrate change leadership capability .

Key Responsibilities


Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership

by leveraging innovative approaches and best practices (e.g. eLearning tools and/or other technologies) to L&D programs to establish, review, update, and maintain scalable, repeatable Global Finance (GF) L&D program solutions for expanded Finance programs.

in executing the GF L&D strategies created in partnership with global counterparts (Finance and Operational leaders), that provides ongoing Business and Finance Acumen L&D opportunities to a broad base of global Finance and Non-Finance clients in a fast-paced work environment across the expanded GF L&D curriculum.

Program Management: Lead the design, development, implementation of key GBS capability programs, including multiple learning platforms (eLearning, instructor led) for associates to acquire and/or maintain shared services capability.

Delivery: Deliver GBS training as program facilitator and/or instructor, expanded to include leading and managing the global delivery of leadership and customer service programs and related content. Build and maintain relationships with senior GBS leaders, HR BPs and Global Talent and Development COE teams to deliver quality and efficient capability-building solutions. Responsibilities also include building and managing line of business facilitator and supplier instructor relationships across the globe where programs are delivered, to maintain strong base, as well as developing and executing train-the-trainer opportunities targeted to recruit, coach and develop new GBS instructors.

Consulting: Partner with others (e.g. Global Procurement, HR, GBS HR, and Coca-Cola University) to solve business learning and development requirements through review/assessment of client curriculum, diagnostic thinking, effective questioning and critical thinking. Manage expectations and build strong collaborative win-win relationships with partners to deliver on key goals. Gather appropriate information through skilful questioning and active listening. Partner with clients to identify the right solutions to business learning and development solutions and change-management challenges. Contract specific deliverables and deadlines with internal clients, based on effective diagnostic studies. Manage client expectations effectively. Partner with clients to define strategy development to scale existing and new curriculum to build world class learning and development for Finance and non-Finance clients.

The role responsibilities require shared services business acumen, company knowledge, and a holistic view of learning and development to provide the right solutions to the GBS organization:


Primary liaison between GBS HR Leader and SBPs, HR L&D, GBS Change Leads and GBS Senior Leaders to support demand for associate and manager GBS capability to drive differentiation and competitive advantage.

Support program design responsibilities with key leaders for GBS capabilities: Service, Operational and Talent Excellence by providing consultation on solutions which often include design, development, program management and delivery of specific training curriculum.

Support design, development and delivery of all program curriculum, workshops, facilitator training, site leaders and ultimately program sessions for all associates and managers.

Develop comprehensive adult learning strategies, frameworks, suppliers and tools and establish repeatable, effective approach for all GBS training, including training requirements emerging from Change Leads strategic change plans and activities.

Provide consultation and recommendations to business leaders on the Company’s existing GBS solutions, and where identified, include the design, creation, management and execution of new programs, to deliver GBS solutions based on client needs.


What you need to be successful


As your role will be to identify and leverage best-in-class solutions and creating new, innovative ones to meet the GBS capability development needs and challenges, knowing what is available and reaching out to SMEs as relates to the use of technology to deliver training will be crucial.


The communication in this role will be focused internally across all levels of the GBS organization, widely with the senior leadership team. Therefore, excellent customized communication, presentation, stakeholder and influencing as well as negotiating and consulting skills will be required to be a successful Capability Deployment and Training Strategy Lead.


In addition, you should bring along a strong general business acumen , high personal integrity , common sense, strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, high-energy and a results-oriented approach .


This role will work across and with teams in diverse locations around the world. Thus, a global mind-set and understanding of different learning styles/needs across multiple geographies as well as being comfortable and able to operate in a very diverse cultural environment is a must. Key Requirements


MBA preferred, or requisite experience.

10+ years of experience in shared services, related or similar business, and Learning and Development training related roles.

Proven ability to understand business/project strategy and translate it into learning solutions that support the Company’s business goals.

Proficient in creating business curriculum/programs.

An inherent ability for teaching, developing and coaching others.

Ability to balance the strategic nature of the role with tactical implementation and deal with ambiguity.

Proven ability to build strong working relationships across the Global Finance and Non-Finance community.

Strong organizational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects at one time.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and proven ability to analyze financial information, business and financial acumen.
