Director, Global Change Operations based in Atlanta, GA
Position Overview
As Director, Global Change Operations you will be a senior change management leader responsible for leading (including development and coaching) a collaborative team of Change Leads and Change Execution Specialists serving clients across GBS and other functions .
You will manage a broad portfolio of large-scale change initiatives and the planning and resourcing of change talent to deliver priority change initiatives as agreed in the annual business planning process , and own tactical change plans associated with clients not covered by the Change Leads.
As part of the leadership team, you will collaboratively develop strategic plans and capability roadmaps of the Global Change Practice , and accordingly support individual development plans of members of the team.
In your role you will partner with senior GBS and function leaders to understand clients’ long-term strategic plans and roadmaps, and consequently build change leadership capability in client leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build long-term relationships with GBS and function leaders to help identify and agree on strategic priorities and roadmaps for initiatives and change to drive business value.
Create alignment across GBS and function leaders and partner to establish a clear vision/destination for client organization.
Establish vision for Change Leads and Execution Specialists, develop and lead roadmap of activities to accomplish vision, coach and develop.
Track status of all client change initiatives as part of Global Change Practice management routines, identify strategic challenges and help to resolve.
Participate in relevant client project management or governance processes and routines to understand plans, progress, address issues, and plan resources.
Create, socialize and execute comprehensive change management plans for remaining clients of Global Change Practice that are not covered by Change Leads, i.e.
Partner with Communications Strategy Lead and Communications Specialist to develop and execute communications plan tied to change initiative.
Partner with GBS Capability Deployment and Training Strategy Lead to develop and execute training program to support change initiative.
As part of Global Change Practice leadership team, help lead Global Change Practice routines, processes and activities, build community and visibly demonstrate change leadership capability.

What you need to be successful
As Director, Global Change Operations you will influence and give recommendations at the GBS and function senior leader level and will be responsible for decision-making on resourcing and prioritization of the Change team as well as strategies for specific change initiatives. As this role brings along many, mainly internal, communication complexities tied to impact, breadth and depth of change that is being implemented, you will require strong strategic communications, visioning and influencing skills paired with the ability to develop similar capability in your team.
As the process for change initiatives varies depending on the nature and culture of the impacted organizations, we are looking for an experienced project leader with the ability to manage ambiguity as well as lead and communicate through change .
As you will work across all geographies of GBS (global scope), business teams and environments, being multi-lingual will be helpful but is not mandatory. You will, however, profit from cultural sensitivity and an open mindset .

Education: Master´s Degree
Related Work Experience: This role requires a minimum of 10-15 years deep experience in leading teams, designing and implementing change in a rapidly changing environment, experience in consulting and enterprise-wide change implementation, pulling from a range of Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management models, processes and tools.
Functional Skills
Certification in Change methodology (e.g. ADKAR/Prosci certification), PMP preferred, ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals) and IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) preferred.
Strong strategic communications.
Big picture visioning and influencing skills paired with ability to develop similar capability into Change Leads and No Company spokesperson responsibilities.
Strong team and inspirational leadership.
Planning and analysis, understanding detailed work analysis, business processes, stakeholders, financial business cases, culture and engagement measures, desired behaviors, business development.
Risk and mitigation planning.
Balancing immediate and short term needs and delivering results.
Multi-lingual preferred but not mandatory.
