MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Set up, operate and monitor equipment

· Perform make-ready process to include check of materials, work orders, equipment and special customer requirements prior to running

· Adhere to production schedule; Responsible for machine output and quality

· Perform routine maintenance and production adjustments as needed

· Inspect components during operation for required specification; Determine whether machine adjustments are necessary

· Accurately record production information as required

· Direct Apprentice Operators to achieve production goals

· Train Apprentice Operators to operate equipment and move to operator positions

· Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

· Approximately 100% of the time is spent on your feet in a plant environment where employees are exposed to noise, chemicals, ink, dust, dirt, temperature extremes and forklift traffic. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The position will require routine lifting, pushing, pulling and walking.

To be considered, we require a High School Diploma or G.E.D., a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience, be available to work 2nd shift with overtime including weekends. Please submit your resume for immediate consideration.

Prior paper, packaging or printing experience (Flexo Operator, Flexographic, Printing, 4 color/6 color, die-cut, packaging, folded carton, corrugate, paperboard) is a plus!
