Sr IT Manager – Site Support – Latin and South America Region

The Latin and South America Region Site Support Manager will be responsible for providing operational support excellence to the business users in the Latin and South America offices (Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Mexico, and Miami) and provides senior level management and oversight for the day-to-day support, upgrade path, monitoring and on-going maintenance of Enterprise Wide Infrastructure and end-user Support. This role is accountable for the operational excellence of the service delivery teams in the designated region or sites and acts as an escalation point for all things IT, for the business partners. This role will be based out of the Regional Headquarters Miami Office and report into the Global Lead – Site Support Services.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
Work closely with management and teams to ensure that all phases of support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems and configuration issues are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, resolved and managed under incident, problem and change management processes Lead, manage and drive the IT Site support staff in the Region. This role will leverage a vendor support model to ensure that our obligations are being met. Implement and/or Ensure IT Site support staff in the region or sites follow all processes and procedures Applies a strong working knowledge of the technology organization and responds to customer escalations or operational problems Collaborate with others IT group to Maintains Security and Compliance of IT systems Manage Regional or site projects (in conjunction with specified technology strategy) and implementation of change in area(s) of responsibility Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for installed technical solutions by analyzing and applying technical knowledge following established procedures and standards Ensures compliance with technical standards and supports migration efforts to designated future infrastructure environments as appropriate #LI-JS2
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Manage IT vendors/Suppliers in collaboration with IT Strategic Sourcing/Procurement Team Multilanguage support and communication will be expected and required to include, Spanish, English and Portuguese. Strong vendor management experience is desired as this role will primarily be managing a vendor to deliver the support services for the region. Typical candidates will possess 8+ years of relevant experience and BS in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience or an M.S. and 6+ years of relevant experience.
