Finance Reporting Analyst - Plastic Omnium - Troy, MI

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN TROY, MI

MISSION

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for the integrity of the regional financial information reported to the division; he/she coordinates the activities with the four countries of the Region (USA, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil) to meet the reporting deadlines, and assists the Finance Manager in his/her requests

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews and consolidates the information for the Region before the submission of the different deliverables to the division in HFM and Opium, and he/she ensures the compliance with the division reporting rules. As main deliverables we can mention: month-end actuals, plant and product line split, monthly rolling forecast, budget, business plan etc…

Coordinates the analysis and presentation of the results of the four countries for the Finance Manager

Assists the Finance Manager in the creation of all the needed relevant templates for the reporting, he/she coordinates their implementation and trains/coaches the different countries to the reporting tools

Participates in the continuous improvement of the reporting tools (HFM, Opium, SAP…)

Produces or coordinates the specific reports requested by the Finance Manager

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor in Finance and Accounting, (Master’s Degree in Finance, preferred)

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry

Analytical

Excellent coordination skills

Good written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) required

Prior exposure to SAP would be a plus

Good proficiency in MS Office Excel

At ease and effective in a matrix, multicultural and fast evolving environment
