PII has operations in ten countries around the world (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, China, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Poland, and Italy) and is looking to fill a Manager, PII Link Community position in the Marketing and Strategy department in Newark, New Jersey.


Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing,


PII is seeking a Manager, PII Link Community who will play a central role in the development and maintenance of PII’s internal collaboration platform (PII Link).


The platform which is used to collaborate, manage projects and serve as a document repository is an important part of the PII culture.


The incumbent will help to develop and implement strategy and objectives of the platform working with PII Marketing leadership.


The manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activity on the site and will work with associates across PII functions and international operations.


S/he will be viewed as the in-house community manager and platform expert, and consult with PII functional areas and local operations to help develop and implement their communities in line with the platform objectives and local business objectives and priorities.


Key responsibilities:
·


Work with Marketing leadership to establish community goals, objectives and PII’s Internal Social Business / Collaboration strategy


·


Manage the PII Link community providing:
o


Initial and ongoing training to all PII Link members in line with their specific roles within the community


o


Expertise to PII Link associates to support the creation of sub-communities to meet specific functional and business needs


o


Engaging content to be shared within the platform and across sub-communities


o


Monitoring


/ reporting of platform activity to track performance against objectives and develop new recommendations to improve community engagement


o


Tier 1 technical support for the community and act as a liaison to the PII IT organization for complex technical support

Develop the content strategy and manage the content calendar for the PII Link home page


·


Manage the PII Standard Operating Principles to identify issues and


adopt


policies to mitigate those issues


·


Manage the user registration and activation process


Qualifications


·


Bachelor’s degree preferred


·


3-5 years


experience in community management of internal and / or external digital communities


·


Knowledge of Jive platform or other collaboration or social platforms


·


Outgoing personality expressed through digital interaction.


The community manager will need to generate excitement, engagement and adoption of the platform.


·


Demonstrated expertise in engaging and activating community groups


·


Experience in locating and engaging activists within the community to foster dialogue and collaboration


·


Experience in using Google Analytics Premium and in establishing metrics to track community growth and collaboration


·


Experience in gleaning community insights and reporting / recommending strategies to achieve community goals


·


Excellent writing skills; strong oral communications and analytical skills


·


Experience in HTML and CSS a plus


·


Outstanding collaborative skills and ability to interface across organizational levels and cultures


·


Strong organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines in a fluid, fast-paced environment


·


Knowledge of life, accident & health, and savings products a plus


·


International experience and language abilities preferred
