Responsibilities

SAP Tax – Business System Analyst

The candidate must possess the following minimum skills/education:

• Experience using SAP ECC 6.0 that includes a good understanding of overall Finance and Controlling (FI-CO) modules and the related integration with Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules.


• Experience using SAP Tax using external tax engine.


• Experience with extended withholding tax configuration in SAP


• Knowledge of transaction tax (Sales & Use or VAT)


• Experience with tax reporting and reconciliation, including supporting internal and external audit requests.


• Good documentation skills around creating and maintaining test scenarios and both end-user and system guides.


• Developing and maintaining training programs for both IT and end-user groups.


• Ability to proactively manage deliverables across both functional and technical teams.


• Approaches issues with a good analytical and problem-solving mindset.


• Ability to serve as the primary liaison between Tax stakeholders and IT.


• Proactively manages tax software to ensure is staying current with product and content updates. This includes understanding and communication of vendor roadmaps with IT management and business stakeholders.


• Bachelor’s level degree with 1-3 years of experience with SAP and external tax engines

The following additional skills would be considered a plus:

• OneSource (Sabrix) Functional Experience (Trans-editor, product mapping)


• Experience with OneSource SAP GlobalNext


• Experience with SAP ABAP, ability to understand, and troubleshoot the tax interface


• Experience with SAP Contract Accounting (FI-CA) and/or SAP Hybris Billing Solution.


• Experience with SAP Data Archiving Retention Tool (DART)


• Knowledge of statutory ledger requirements in one or more of the following countries Brazil, Turkey, Russia, France, and Argentina.


• Experience with Tax in India, Russia and Brazil.


• Experience with Plants abroad

The person chosen for this position will work in Lexmark’s Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) team with primary mission of supporting the production environment for transaction taxes and implementing continuous improvement enhancements to meet the needs of customers and business stakeholders.

• This is a remote work from home position. Candidate can be in a virtual home based office with travel as needed for training and other business purposes.
