Solutions Engineer - Olapic - New York, NY

Olapic is looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to support our Sales team in closing large scale, complex Strategic and Enterprise opportunities. He/She will be responsible for maintaining relationships with senior technical and operational stakeholders at Olapic customers and prospects, and will work internally with sales and product development to identify and communicate solutions to meet customer business needs.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Assist sales team through preparation and delivery of pre-sales discovery and analysis.

  • Educate prospects on product implementation and usage and answer their technical and sales questions, acting as the “voice of the product and the user”.

  • Oversee all pre-sales 3rd party integration requests and opportunities, ultimately acting in support of the Sales team in meetings and client interactions.

  • Anticipate and address directly all the technical aspects of the prospected solutions and articulate them effectively at all levels.

  • Build and present custom static and live demos tailored to specific client challenges or workflows.

  • Create relationships with key decision makers and serve as external technical spokesperson.

  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the live assistance/customer experience industry to stay aware of trends, issues and competition.

  • Play eyes and ears for Product and Client Services teams – communicate innovative ideas to add to product direction and prepare Client Services team for successful handoffs with detailed information gathered from prospects and customers.

  • Provide assistance with competition analysis and RFP support.

  • Create and maintain product knowledge base with a sales-first slant, enabling sales team to self-help from your amassed knowledge.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of technical support or development experience. Prior sales or solutions consulting experience a preferred. Such prior experience in a SaaS or digital marketing role a major plus.

  • People-first personalities – you shine in front of people, perform well under pressure, comfortable answering open-ended and / or ambiguous technical questions.

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills – you’re selling Olapic at the highest levels, designing solutions, and illustrating the “art of the possible”.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong technical skills and creativity in solving complex problems.

  • Ability to travel occasionally.
