Business Title: Head of FP&A, Incubator Markets

Subsidiary: eBay Classifieds Group

Primary Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the CFO of eBay Classifieds Group Incubator Markets, with a strong link to the GM, the Head of FP&A, Incubator Markets will lead financial planning, provide financials insights and strategic insight all while partnering closely with the Incubator management team and leaders at all levels to help grow and develop the business.

Job Requirements:
The Incubator Markets organization is a portfolio of businesses including Australia, Italy, South Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Singapore and Close5 in the US. You will gain exposure to many areas of the company including finance, strategy, marketing and sales. In addition to providing analyses and reporting, you will also be expected to act as a thought partner, presenting results and recommendations to the country team and business leaders.

Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning for the full P&L for Incubator Markets advising the Incubator CFO and leadership team on how the businesses are trending

Drive financial insights for the Incubator Markets that bring smarter investments and better returns while taking a leading role in the budgeting and strategic planning process

Ensure all monthly and quarterly FP&A related reporting requirements and submission to the company’s headquarters are met

Support eBay Classifieds Group’s central controllership team in execution of accounting and financial controllership processes (e.g. monthly close, expense compliance, revenue recognition policies)

Be able to support and influence cross functional teams and different management levels

Qualifications:
Degree with specialization in finance/accounting

Excellent and proven understanding of finance, accounting principles, and internal controls

5-7 years of related experience

Strong sense of initiative and autonomy; a self-starter

The capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business’ needs and translate them into actionable solutions

Strong communication skills and ability to communicate within all levels of the organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems is a plus (preferably SAP, BW and BPC).

High energy and a desire to work in a result-oriented, fast growth and team-oriented environment

Experience working for a multi-national company

High level of written and verbal English skills
