Project Management Coordinator - Frost & Sullivan - United States
Specifically, this position requires responsibility for monitor Growth Consulting project performance against budget and schedules and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our quality standards. Identify issues and variances early and report to the Project Manager and QA Executives any variances. Work with the project team on actions to get the projects back on track.
Responsibilities:
Develop reports and processes leveraging our systems to track project performance
Assigned to work on the top (i.e. largest, most complex) Consulting projects across all CBU’s
Work closely with the Project Manager to develop proformas and system inputs
Monitor actual hours to proforma/allocated hours by resource and stage
Monitor actual completion dates to estimated completion dates for activities and overall project
Monitor resource utilization and productivity within the project
Manage work in progress by monitoring estimates to complete values
Identify significant variance in project MOPs (Measures of Performance) and escalate to Project Manager and QA Executives
Work with the Project Manager and QA Executive on remedial actions to get projects on track and continue to monitor project performance under the revised plans
Support ongoing activities to strengthen our Project Management processes and capabilities
Qualifications:
3 years of experience in similar project management positions, preferable at international companies
Knowledge of general Project Management best practices such as time / cost management, schedule management, quality management and scope management
Experience with tools that handle time management, Gannt charting, resource utilization
Experience with a project management system is strongly preferred
Advanced English skills (speaking, writing and listening) is mandatory. Portuguese a plus.
Ability to work with diverse teams and professional at all levels: executives, managers, analysts, consultants – be an agent of change to drive performance to higher levels
Process oriented, well organized, attention to detail
Excellent analytic skills and problem solving skills
Strong initiative and strong work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
