It’s an amazing time to be joining Netflix as we continue to transform entertainment globally. Netflix has grown to +75 million members across the globe with the Latin American region in the centerpiece of international expansion.
As we expand our team focused on Latin America, we are looking for a talented and resourceful marketing professional to work with a high performance team responsible for creating consumer demand for Netflix in Latin America by creating must watch viewing events.
This position is based in Los Angeles at our Beverly Hills office reporting to the Director of Marketing for Latin America.
Key responsibilities
Build world-class campaigns and locally relevant creative for Netflix Originals series, movies and docs across Latin America with focus in Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru
Help connect consumers in these markets with Netflix brand through innovative digital-first campaigns that create fervent hysteria and must watch events
Ensure strong alignment between our creative and our media selection
Serve as a key voice in ensuring and coordinating that the marketing, PR, social media and partnership teams and in-market activities are speaking to consumers with one voice
Act as a cultural ambassador and be critical to help cross-functional teams understand the Latin American consumer while also living and embracing the Netflix culture
Ideal Candidate Qualities
5+ years of experience working in marketing for entertainment, consumer and/or technology brands
Understands the essence of what connects consumers to entertainment brands and how to translate that connection into campaigns that create a passionate following
Strong understanding of digital marketing with an emphasis on online video, rich-media , mobile and social, but has the ability to tell stories through great ideas regardless of the channel and format
Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously without the support of a large team
Analytically savvy and comfortable analyzing data to draw insights for future campaigns and business decisions
Ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders
Experience in startup environments and flexibility to adapt to a lean, high-energy, high-performance and constantly changing work environment
Experience working in the Latin America region
Bachelor’s degree
Desirable Skills
Fluency in written and spoken Spanish
Multi-market (specifically Latin America) experience is a plus
Creative and strategic thinking
