Entry Level NOC Analyst - Marketing Focus Position - Grupo-SMS USA - Irvine, CA

POSITION
This is a full-time Entry Level NOC Analyst position with a Marketing focus. The position is ideal for someone who has or is pursuing an IT degree with a background or Minor in Marketing. On-the-job training sessions and real world experience will be provided. Our NOC Analyst position handles the monitoring and escalation of network, server, and facility issues. He/She analyzes the problem and, depending on problem complexity and resolution time constraints, either solves it or seeks help. The NOC Analyst utilizes support from technical experts within the organization and third parties to resolve problems. He/She takes responsibility for handling incidents and following them through completion. Upon successful resolution, he/she finalizes the task according to company policies for incident management. Job duties also include documenting the problems encountered and techniques used to solve it for future reference. Our NOC Analyst position works with and handles email campaigns, press releases, target marketing, customer interaction and sales. Creativity and dynamic thinking is encouraged. Social and outgoing personalities will thrive in this position. He/She will work with technical staff to gain knowledge and background of the SMS core business. Strong verbal and written skills are necessary for this position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Datacenter Access Administrator (Velocity).


• Facility automation monitoring (Datatrax).


• Troubleshoot basic network/server issues.


• Open/Update/Close tickets (Helpdesk).


• Create documentation.


• Utilize tools to draft press releases and blog posts. You will also be the liaison for events with stakeholders and customers.


• Work on brand campaign deliverables and launching campaigns within our Sales Department.


• Focus on the audit, process development and update of collateral assets that are released into the market.


• Work with market research, analytics, data and reporting.


• Development of marketing campaigns and strategies.


• Generate leads and manage prospect qualification.


• Assist in the development of sales prospects.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1-2 years of Marketing experience.


• Great customer service skills.


• Have excellent written and verbal communication skill.


• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar field.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Excel.


• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Understanding of Information Technology such as servers, networking and virtualization.
